Adoption Law

Both Kurt M. Hughes and Michelle A. Tarnelli have a tremendous amount of experience with adoption law, and the knowledge to help their clients achieve legal security as they build their families. As Fellows of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys, they have demonstrated their in-depth knowledge of this unique aspect of family law. They provide legal services for adoptive parents, birth parents, and agencies. They handle interstate (ICPC) adoptions, independent and private agency adoptions, stepparent, near-relative or second-parent adoptions. They are also skilled litigators in proceedings involving the contested termination of parental rights in the probate and family courts.
